Charlotte Blankenship Ruffin

Charlotte Blankenship Ruffin, 88, a resident of Chester, VA, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Carrie Blankenship; and her loving husband, George E. Ruffin, Sr. She is survived by her children, George E. Ruffin, Jr. and Beverly R. Buccola (Allan); grandchildren, Celeste Buccola and Allan C. Buccola (Jaimee); great grandsons, Miles and Gavin Buccola. Charlotte was a member of Chester United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Civilian Conservation Corp Pocahontas Chapter and Ettrick-Matoaca volunteer rescue squad. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Saturday , February 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. 3050 W. Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
