Alma Lee Brittle Barkman

Alma Lee Brittle Barkman, 91, of Prince George, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard J. Lee and Elva Horton Lee, her first husband Arthur G. Brittle and second husband Arthur T. Barkman. She is survived by her daughters, Marie B. Mueller of Chester, Carol B. Leggett and husband, John of Prince George, Diane B. Devers and husband, Burt of Prince George; brother, Curtis Lee of Hopewell; two sisters, Annie Miller of Williamsburg and Peggy Jones of Red Oak, VA; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Alma was loved by everyone who ever met her. The family will receive friends at The Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Phil Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Cemetery.
