Constance LaVerne Foster, 91, of North Prince George, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Smith and Willa Wood Nix; and husband, James Henry Foster. LaVerne was a charter member of Unity Baptist Church and a member of the Frances Bland Randolph Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a talented watercolor painter and loved sewing. LaVerne made prom gowns and school play outfits for her daughters with her sewing ability. She is survived by her sons, Dennis J. Foster and Terrill S. Foster (Lura); daughters, Sheila F. Fredette (Frank) and Tina Marie Foster; grandchildren, Erik K. Foster (Anna), Benjamin J. Fredette (Lisa), Christopher J. Fredette, and Daniel P. Fredette; great-grandchildren, Dean Foster, Jake Klingshirn, Chase Hawes, Katlin Hawes, Riley Foster, Alex Foster, Wade Foster, Abby Foster, Nathan Fredette, and Cohen Fredette; and sister, Doris S. Chandler. A funeral service will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 3:00 P.M.
