Diana Lynn Belcher

Diana Lynn Belcher, 75, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Born in Hopewell, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lois Ray Elliott Livesay; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Melvin A. Belcher, Jr.; one son, Joey Belcher; a grandson, Dylan Leis; and a sister, Carolyn Sue Livesay. Lynn was a member of West End Baptist Church and had retired from Colonial Heights Public Schools as a school bus driver after 27+ years of dedicated service. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, daughter, mother, and Memaw. She is survived by her father, Joseph Livesay; two children, Melvin A. Belcher III and wife, Theresa, and Tracey Barlow and husband, David; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Waverly), Ashley, Caeley, Derek, Kayla, Brandon, and Keirstyn; five great-grandchildren, Chase, Hudson, Cayson, Blakely, and Weston; and two nieces, Rebecca Smith and husband, Jamison and Jenny Andrews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Blandford Cemetery.
