Donald Lee Emerson

Donald Lee Emerson, 69, of Chester, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester “Schoolie” Emerson and Margaret Gardner. Mr. Emerson is survived by his wife, Patsy Emerson; son, Rusty Emerson; daughter, Kim Harris and her husband, Doug; grandchildren, Hayley and Linsay; sister, Stella Adams and her husband, Joe; nieces, Julie Dafler and Stephanie Phillips; and other extended family and friends. Don and his wife loved spending time on the water in his boat, “Overboard”. He was also a proud owner of Virginia Rigging and Crating for 28 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A time of visitation will follow the service until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
