Doris Mae Mcdermott

Doris Mae McDermott, 90, of Hopewell passed away on Saturday January 6, 2018 at her residence. Born in Punxsutawney, PA on October 25, 1927, and was the daughter of the late, Fred and Mary Pletcher Bechdel. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Frederick C. McDermott; and her sister, Lydia Bechdel Miller. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene Certain, Kathleen Cave and her husband, Ed, and Sharon McDermott; granddaughter, Katherine Cave; great-grandchildren, Emily Minor, Riley Minor, Jack Minor. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Petersburg VA. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
