Mary Alice Gray

Mary Alice Gray, 76, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Viola Hargrove; her loving husband, Oscar Lee Gray, Jr.; a sister, Sara May; and her brother, Walter Hargrove. She is survived by her sons, Tony Gray, Jeff Gray and wife Meredythe; special son, Tim Holden; sister Shirley Crowder and her beloved dog “Candy”; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Mary retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation with 32 years of service and was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loving her pets, crafting and creating floral decorations. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
