Michael Melnyk Jr.

Michael Melnyk, Jr. 67, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed amateur radio. He also served in the National Guard. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Melnyk, Sr.; great- grandson, Nathan Michael Smith. He is survived by his wife, Judy A. Melnyk; daughter, Melissa D. Melnyk; son, Michael Melnyk, III; daughter, Michele L. Melnyk (Dean Flavell); daughter, Mindy J. Petit; mother, Mabel T. Melnyk; 8 grandchildren , David (Ashley), Joshua, Jarrod, Michael, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Megan, Mykayla; sisters, Marybeth Radford (John), Cathy Kirkland (John) and a host of beloved family and friends. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Chester Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with interment immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park.
