Patricia Ann Russell Moody, 67, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Southside Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Kent Russell, Sr. and an infant, Baby Boy Moody. She worked for the Appomattox River Soil and Water Conservation district office in Dinwiddie County and worked as a bus driver for Dinwiddie Public Schools for 25 years. She was an active member of the Woodmen of the World for over 50 years and was a member and church clerk of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving children, Tammy Moody Harrell and husband, Robert, of DeWitt, Garland Lee Moody, III and wife, Shannon, of Disputanta, Kenneth Duane Moody and Robert Darren “Bobby” Moody both of Chester; her mother, Angie B. Royall of Petersburg; brother, Thomas Kent Russell, Jr. also of Petersburg; grandchildren, Amber H. Hollowell, Kevin Lee Harrell, Katie Moody, and Madison Moody; nieces, Janice Lynn Pfister and husband, Rob, and Chrystal Russell; nephew, Michael Barnard and wife, Angel, several great-nieces and great-nephews, special friends, Linda Hensley, Van Swicegood, Gordon Barnes, Anna Eley, and dear friend, Janice Drewry. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 8th at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 22218 Dabney Mill Road, N. Dinwiddie. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with Pastor Rodney Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
