Robert G. Jones

Robert G. Jones Sr., 79, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, VA. He was born on May 23, 1934 and resided in Prince George for over 50 years. Mr. Jones was a proud veteran having served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Polly Jones; loving wife, Olga Jones; brothers, Lawrence and Howard Jones. He is survived by son Robert G. Jones, Jr., of Prince George; daughter, Cecilia Jones Connely of Dinwiddie; grandson, Robert P. Williams; great-grandson, Jakob Williams; great-granddaughter, Emma Williams; sisters, Elise Bushman, Alease Walker, and Ola Mae Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
