Robert Elwyn “Toad” Magee, III., 55, of Dinwiddie County, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 after a period of declining health surrounded by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Boyd Magee of Richmond; his paternal grandparents, Robert E. Magee, Sr. and Mary Leys Magee of Petersburg; his maternal grandparents, Frazier T. Boyd and Mary Boyd of War, West Virginia. Robert is survived by his beloved daughter, Ashley L. Magee and her fiancé, Kris Ingo of Chester; Ashley’s mother, Karen G. Magee of Chester; his father, Robert E. Magee, Jr. (Rebecca) of Christiansburg, VA; brothers, Stephen M. Magee of Chester, Michael Magee of Tampa, FL; sisters, Pamela P. Eppard of Naples, FL, and Donna P. Brook of Hendersonville, TN. Robert was a long-time employee of UPS. He loved his coworkers and customers and they loved him too. He enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, camping, rooting for VA Tech, and attending the Matoaca Gospel Hall. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to VCU Massey Cancer Center, P.O.
