Samuel Preston Bain

Samuel Preston Bain, age 60, of Dinwiddie, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Born in Dinwiddie, he was the only child of the late Malcom C. Bain and Audrey Reese Bain. His grandparents were Preston C. and Eunice Hawkins Bain and Sam and Edith Reese. Sammy is survived by an uncle, Ronnie Reese of Dinwiddie, VA; two aunts, Gwendolyn Bain Carter of Petersburg, VA and Peggy C. Bain of Highland Springs, VA; and numerous cousins. Sammy was a graduate of Dinwiddie County High School. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and walking his dogs.

A memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 am, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contribution be made to ASPCA, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, D.C. 20077.
