Sarah Ewery Crowell

Sarah Vick Crowell, 89, of Hopewell, VA., passed away Friday, December 7, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Blythe Drewery, Sr. and Margaret Bell Rayford; first husband, Harvey Fenton Vick, Sr., and second husband Harvey Crowell; son, Otis Carson Vick; brothers, John H. Drewery and Samuel Blythe Drewery. Sarah was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Prince George, VA. She was a former employee at Firestone Nylon Division in Hopewell. She is survived by son, H.F. Vick, Jr. (Shirley), son, James Vick, Sr. (Linda), daughter, Juanita Harper (Blaney), daughter, Rita Rice (Bryan), son, Larry Vick (Paula) daughter-in-law, Cathy Vick; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one more on the way; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Mary Catherine Jenkins (Stanley), Gwen Best (John); sister-in-law, Ola Paige Drewery. The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Unity Baptist Church, 4951 Mt. Sinai Road, Prince George, VA with a Celebration of Life to be held, at 7:00 p.m.
