Victor Manuel Cintron, 83, of Hopewell passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on February 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Manuel R. and Maria E. Silva Cintron, and was also preceded in death by his son, Luis Anthony Cintron; grandson, Brandon M. Cintron; and daughter-in-law, Tracey Cintron. A United States Army retiree, Victor proudly served his country for 20 years during the Vietnam War, receiving a Bronze Star for his service. He was an avid bowler and golfer, but most of all, he cherished his time spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Sieglinde Maria Cintron; sons, Robert V. Cintron, Ray M. Cintron, John R. Cintron; daughter, Linda A. Cintron; grandchildren, Brittany M. Cintron (Jason), Amanda Williams, Christan Rigsby (Chase), John Cintron, Rebecca K. Cintron, Christopher C. Cintron; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Cayden, Clayton, Braxton, Ava, Waylon, Christopher, Isabella; and other extended family members and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Homes, 820 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA 23860.
