Adam Michael Shelton

Adam Michael Shelton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 25th. Adam was born at Petersburg General Hospital on March 23rd, 1982. He was a happy, smiling little boy who grew into a happy smiling amazing young man. He loved his Mom and Dad and his brothers, but he saved his deepest love for his son, Gavin. We are proud of Adam for a number of reasons, but none greater than his dedication as a "Daddy." We are grieving the loss of our son, brother and Daddy who left us way too soon. Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Snow Shelton and Katie Marie Shelton, William “Rudy” Kollman and Mary Davis Kollman. He is survived by his Mother, Sheila Kollman Railey (Skeeter), his Father, Francis David Shelton, his son, Gavin Michael Shelton and his brothers, Jason David Shelton, Thomas Wayne Shelton and William Jarrett Shelton and wife, Jennifer. He also leaves behind several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We will treasure our memories of this extraordinary young man. A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 7:00pm -9:00pm at the J.T. Morriss & Son Chester Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 30,2021 at 11:00am at Ironbridge Baptist Church, 10900 Iron Bridge Rd, Chester, VA 23831, Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
