Addie Price

Addie Irene Price, 95, of Petersburg, widow of Junius LaVan Price, Sr., died Wednesday, February 18, 2004 in Waverly Health Care Center. She was a native and life-long resident of Petersburg and was the daughter of the late Joseph Peyton and Mary Beasley Perdue. She is survived by two sons, J. LaVan Price, Jr. of Petersburg and Wayne Y. Price of Easley, SC; 3 grandchildren; Edward L. Price of Roanoke, Wayne Y Bergen and Jay Bergen both of Virginia Beach; three step-grandchildren, Tracy Cochran of Easley, SC, Steven Haydt of Church Road and Vickie Mazza of Doylestown, PA; four great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Boston M. Lackey, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
