Adelaida B. Ferrer

Adelaida B. Ferrer, 96, passed away on July 14, 2024, at Riverview on the Appomattox, in Hopewell. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Cesario Ferrer; and son, Francisco.

She is survived by her children, Merci Kessler, Randy and Debbie, Ces and D'Ann, and Art and Lisa; and her extended family, Cherry and Carlos Macababbad. Adele has eight grandchildren, Paul, Jonathan, Adele (Alex Nathan), Ariel, Brittany, Chris, C.J., and Candyce (Lukas Terry). She has two great-grandchildren, Rowan Nathan and Madilyn Terry.

Ms. Ferrer's wake and rosary will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with rosary to begin at 6:00 pm., at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Hopewell, VA. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, in Hopewell, on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow at the church hall. Interment will be private.
