Agnes Kossick

Agnes Sarah Barker Kossick, 92, of Church Road, VA, widow of Edward James Kossick, died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late William Samuel and Ethel Thomasson Barker. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Cliborne and Constance Skalsky. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kossick Shelton and husband, John, of Church Road; a sister, Maude Wells of Petersburg; a brother, Samuel Barker of New Kent; two granddaughters, Ann Butler and husband, Roger, of Church Road and Terri Ridgeway and husband, Doug, of Chester; three great-grandchildren, Courtney Thomas, James Thomas and Sarah Ridgeway; a brother-in-law, Samuel Skalsky; numerous nieces and a nephew. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 20th from 5-7 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
