Aileen Williams Zahradka

Aileen Williams Zahradka, 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her home in Prince George County, Virginia. She was born on July 20, 1929 to the late Charles Ernest and Nora Dodd Hudgins Willams, Sr. She grew up in DeWitt, Virginia on her family’s tobacco farm, and at the age of 21, she married her lifelong working partner, George Zahradka, Sr., and they spent their lives together on their farm in Prince George until he passed away just three months earlier.
She is survived by her children, Carol King (Bill), George Zahradka Jr. (Rosalyn), Connie Kerner (Dan), Neil Zahradka (Amy); three grandchildren, Jason King (Callie), Ashley King, and Rachel Zahradka; three sisters, Ercelle Wallace, Sarah Stigall, and Christine Halland (Irving); four dedicated caregivers, Shelley, Margaret, Toni, and Danielle; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and loving relatives. She was predeceased by four brothers, Charles Williams Jr., Harvey Williams Sr., McDonald “Mac” Williams, Odell Williams; and four sisters, Ethel Anderson, Florence Murdock, Edith Seibert, and Mildred Williams.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 6616 Boydton Plank Rd, North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at the Dinwiddie Chapel. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park in Prince George.
