Alan Ray Sitterson

Alan Ray Sitterson, 64, went to be with the Lord May 13, 2014, after a seven year battle with brain cancer, leaving behind Brenda, his wife of 38 years; his daughter, Samantha Rae and her husband, Jeff Cole; his son, Timothy Alan Sitterson and his wife, Laura; and his precious granddaughter, Leah Catherine Sitterson. He is survived by his brother, Arthur Linwood Sitterson, Jr. (Debby); and his sister, Faye Sitterson Winston (Carey); and numerous family members and wonderful friends. He worked until his retirement with Philip Morris USA, enjoying his interaction with so many knowledgeable and interesting people. He was always thinking about his next project, whether it be building a home or tinkering with the washing machine. Most important to him was an ever growing desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through numerous mission trips and personal testimony. The family will receive visitors Sunday, May 18 from 3 - 6 pm at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Chester where the service will be held Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11 am.
