Albert Anthony Fried

April 8, 1928 — December 11, 2015

Albert Anthony Fried, 87, a lifelong resident of Dinwiddie County, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leopold J. and Mary Brynda Fried; wife, Eula Jerry Fried; and brothers, Frank, Sr., George, Sr., John, and Bohus. Mr. Fried served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a retired employee of Allied Chemical. He was a lifelong member of St. John Catholic Church and an active member of Reams Ruritan Club. He is survived by his sister, Mary Stech, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at St. John Catholic Church followed by interment at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Catholic Church, 7310 Squirrel Level Road, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23805. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
