Albert Jr. Osterbind

Albert Oliver Osterbind, Jr., age 58, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2009. Albert was a passionate follower of Jesus Christ, a deacon and charter member of Ironbridge Baptist Church, and a devoted caretaker of the Centralia Cemetery. He was born in Richmond, VA, the son of Olivia B. Osterbind and the late Albert O. Osterbind, Sr. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Steven Osterbind. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cindi L. Osterbind; daughter, Renee L. Osterbind; son, Brandon S. Osterbind and wife, Kelly; two grand dogs, Maylea and Maya; four siblings, James Osterbind, Darlene Grosz, Kathleen Graham, Jeannie Lane and spouses; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends at Ironbridge Baptist Church, Chester, on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the church on Tuesday, July 28, at 1 p.m., with interment following in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ironbridge Baptist Church Building Fund at 10900 Ironbridge Rd., Chester, VA 23831.
