Alby Kotlan Myers, 85, of Hopewell, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. Myers was born in Prince George County and had been a life long resident of the tri-city area. She was a volunteer at the Shepherdâ??s Place, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Antonine Kreicar Kotlan, her husband William Cary Myers and a brother, Edward P. Kotlan. She is survived by her daughter, Pauline Lampman Earles of Hopewell, two sons, Paul Howard Lampman of Chesapeake, VA, Richard Lee Lampman of Urbana, IL, four grandchildren, Sheryl Farley and husband Gary of Colonial Heights, VA, Katie Lampman of Urbana, IL, Ben Lampman of Brooklyn, NY, Seth Lampman and wife Brenda of Chesapeake, VA, two great grandchildren, Noah Lampman of Chesapeake and Alby Farley of Colonial Heights.. The family will receive friends Friday, August 21, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA with the Rev Patrick DeVane, associate pastor of First Baptist Church officiating.
