Alexis Marianni Olszewski

Alexis Marianni Olszewski, born September 15, 1999 in Petersburg, Virginia to Tasheria Johnson and Mark Olszewski. Although Alexis was born with a congenital heart defect, Alexis would continue to defy the odds by not just surviving but thriving. She was determined to make her mark on this world.
She was an adventurous fun, loving, caring individual with a unique personality. Her strong communication skills made it easy for her to keep in touch with all her family and friends. Alexis was always willing to be a listening ear or shoulder to cry on for those she loved. She accepted God through her Catholic faith, at an early age spreading the love of Christ everywhere she went.
Graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Highland, MI in June 2019, Alexis continued her education at Howard Community College in Columbia, MD, receiving her CNA and patient care Technician License. She was employed at Brightstar Care in in Columbia, MD.
Alexis entered into her eternal rest to be with the Lord on June 29, 2022. She leaves behind her husband, Kevin Davis, of Columbia, MD; her mother, Tasheria Johnson, of Chester, VA; her father, Mark Olszewski, of Jessup, MD; four brothers, Hadian, Izaiah, Gabriel and Joziah, all of Chester, VA; grandparents, Ronald Olszewski, of Centerville, VA, Ardith and Gilman Ayotte, of MI, Martha Johnson, of Chester, VA, and Mark Gladney, of MD; a special uncle and aunt, Mike and Reva Olszewski, of Centerville, VA; aunts, Cipreanna Johnson, of Richmond, VA, and Christine Buser, of VA; a very special friend, Kyra Levine, of Chester, VA; and a host of family and friends. Alexis was a part of many lives and will be missed by many.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 151 W. Washington St., Petersburg, VA. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday July 7, 2022 at Bermuda Memorial Park, 1901 Bermuda Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23836. In lieu flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
