Alfred James Pizzullo, Jr.

Alfred James Pizzullo, Jr., 78, of Chesterfield, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Alfred Pizzullo, Sr. Alfred is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Pizzullo; daughters, Teresa Johnston (Trevor) and Lesley Harvey; grandchildren, Audrianna Lambert (Chris), Thomas Jenkins, Eric Johnston, Edward Harvey, and Daniel Harvey; two great-grandchildren, Ruby Lambert and Grace Lambert; brothers, Daniel Pizzullo, Sr. and Richard Pizzullo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Alfred was a United States Air Force veteran, serving his country in the Vietnam War. After the war, he worked for the City of Petersburg as a supervisor until his retirement. He liked woodworking and also enjoyed model trains. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25 from 6-8 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son - Petersburg Chapel, 103 S. Adams Street, Petersburg. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia Court House.
