Alice Evelyn (Mitzie) Vedomske Albert, 90, of Prince George, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2022. Mitzie was born on January 9, 1932 to Evelyn Marie Kvasnicka Wyborney and Gilbert Henry Wyborney. She was raised by her mother and beloved stepfather, John Phillip Janosko.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Albert; sister, Jean Holmstrand; grandson, Graham Bush; and stepson, Richard E. Albert.
Mitzie leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Phyllis Brockwell; sons, Ben Vedomske and wife, Theresa, Steven Vedomske and wife, Linda; daughter, Donna Hamm and husband, Jack; stepdaughter, Sarah Miller; grandchildren, Rebekah Cowne, Adam Vedomske, Michael Vedomske, Rachael Rufrano, Jay Hamm, Stacy Curtin, and James Bush; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; as well as a special sister-in-law, Dot Munford.
Mitzie grew up in Prince George, Virginia. She was a graduate of Disputanta High. She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. In her final years, her greatest pleasures were visits from family and friends and watching the world go round through her favorite window.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in Disputanta or Crater Community Hospice. Online condolences may be registered to the family at
