Alice Blankenship

Alice W. Blankenship, 87, died Monday, June 13, 2005 in Petersburg, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Wylie and Ellen W. Whitehead and the widow of Dennis E. Blankenship. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Bowlan and husband, James; granddaughters, Heather Pontius and Mrs. Julie Wiginton; great-grandsons, Savon Wiginton and Taran Wiginton all of Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 15, 2005 from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
