Alice Huff

Alice M. Huff, 87, of Chester, Va., went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, July 22, 2012. She was born August 5, 1924 in Elyria, Ohio. Alice was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a love of life and enjoyed spending time and doing many activities with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alice Insley; her brother, Joe Murphy; her sons, Gary Smith, Tommy Smith, and Donald Huff. Alice is survived by her husband, Harry Huff; her children Richard (Susan) Smith, Barbara (Steve) Rowe, Harry Huff, III., Faye Smith, and Candy Smith; grandchildren Bennie Smith, Rachel (Conrad) Von Garrel, Patrick (Leah) Smith, Greg (Sherry) Smith, Scott (Rachel) Huff, Mac Smith, Jessica (Bryan) Harris, Celena (Ray) Waller, Brad Graves, Andy Huff, Adam (Leslie) Rowe, and fourteen great grandchildren. Alice will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends, but her love and spirit will forever be remembered. A family visitation will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 11:00AM to 12:00 PM at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road, and Chester, Va. 23831. A celebration of Aliceâ??s life will immediately follow at 12:00 PM. The interment will be held at 2:00 PM, at The Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, Va.
