Alice Lewis Lee, 86, a former resident of Petersburg and widow of John Fenton Lee, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011. She was born in Chesterfield but lived most of her life in Portsmouth and Petersburg. An active member of Washington Street United Methodist Church, she was a teacher in the Tyler Bible Class for over 20 years, past president of the United Methodist Women, former Lay Leader, and member of the Chancel Choir. She was a 50 year member and Past Matron of Adah Chapter No. 7, and a member of Alpha Chapter No. 1, Order of the Eastern Star. She and her husband were the owners of Hickory Hill Mobile Home Park for many years. Mrs. Lee is survived by her children, John E. Lee and wife, Nancy, Thomas Lee and wife, Vicki, Elizabeth â??Betseyâ? Davis and husband, Michael, and Brenda Riddle and husband, Harvey; grandchildren, Tina Johnston and husband, Russell, Clint Davis and wife, Mandi, Kelly Davis, Robert Riddle, Ryan Riddle and Rianna Riddle; great-grandchildren, Lisa Gonzalez and Lily Davis; and a sister, Beverly Cogle. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Washington Street United Methodist Church with The Reverends Gina DeJesus, Grover Jenkins, and Michael Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park
