Aline Chaney

Aline C. Chaney, born August 1, 1925, completed her earthly journey and entered eternal life on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, â??Jackâ? Chaney and loving daughters, Anita Hamilton and Linda Kedzierski. Cherishing her memory are her devoted daughter, Diane Cox and faithful son-in-law, Ernie; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. G-mom was a talented artist, an avid gardener, loved to dance and golf and was known for her elegant style and quick wit. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania and raised in Maryland, she was also a resident of Naples, Florida post-retirement from Westinghouse. For the last six years, Chester, Virginia became home as she valiantly weathered the effects of Alzheimerâ??s. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
