Allan R. Golden

Allan R. Golden, 55, of Hopewell, VA, passed away August 22, 2024, with his four children and girlfriend by his side. Born in Costa Rica, and raised in Destin, Florida, he was the son of Hartley J. Golden II and Consuelo Golden. He was a loving boyfriend, father, grandfather, and friend, and devoted many hours doing yardwork for the community, something he took pride in. He was a 1987 graduate of Choctawhatchee High School, and later joined the Army and served from 1993 to 1998. He worked for TACOM FMX in Ft. Lee, VA, for 13 years as a Heavy Mobile Mechanic. He was a member of the American Legion Post 146. He was always busy helping others, enjoyed grilling for a crowd in his backyard, and watching soccer or football, but more than anything, loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his parents; his girlfriend, Kathleen Coleman; his four children, Antonio and his wife, Wendy, Brianna, Alessandra, and Enrique and his fiancée, Rosie; six grandchildren, Natalia, Thiago, Jaziel, Jayce, Cai, and Leon. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T.
