Allen Leslie

Allen Gobble Leslie, 70, of Hopewell passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Leslie worked as a Police Officer for Petersburg Police Department. He then worked for Firestone, and later Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation. Mr. Leslie is preceded in death by his parents, John A. and Estelle G. Leslie. He is survived by his sisters, Carol Yates, and Suzanne Taylor and husband Gene; brother, David Leslie and wife Charlotte; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the home of Carol Yates at 312 Riverview Avenue, Hopewell, VA 23860. All other services will be private.
