Allen August Lockton, 89, of Hopewell, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Lockton was a retired accounting clerk with Hercules Inc., a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church and a member of the U.S. Army during WWII, serving as a Lieutenant with three years service in the Pacific. He was the son of the late Allen and Adele DeHorsey Lockton. Surviving are his wife, Lillian Piskla Lockton of Hopewell, a sister-in-law, Anne Seymour of Newport News, Va., three nephews, James Lockton of Oakville, Conn., Charles Seymour of Houston, Tx., and Paul Seymour of Burnet, Tx. A Devotional Service will be held Sunday at 3:00 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss Funeral Home with visitation to follow. A graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at 2:00 P.M. in Appomattox Cemetery with Rev. Kane, Pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church Officiating.
