Allen "Skinny" Preston Wilkinson

Mr. Allen “Skinny” Preston Wilkinson, 67, of Dinwiddie County passed away Monday, August 4th, 2014, after a brief illness at Southside Regional Medical Center. He is the son of the late David Steele and Virginia Belcher Wilkinson Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother, Emmett B. Wilkinson. Allen grew up in Petersburg, and was a retired Brick Mason of 40 plus years. He is survived by his two daughters, Sonia (Tony) Stone of Carson, Bonnie (Travis) Powroznik of Prince George; one son, Preston Monroe Wilkinson of Dinwiddie; two grandchildren, Luke and Emily Powroznik; three sisters, Rose W. Gibbs of Petersburg, Bonnie W. Cheely of Charleston, WV and Gwendolyn Vaughan of Chesterfield; two brothers, David Steele Wilkinson Jr., of Sutherland, and Danny Ray Wilkinson of Petersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Camp Kehukee, Route 621 in Prince George, Virginia 23875 on Sunday, August 17th, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., with Reverend Robert Rowland of Smyrna Baptist Church officiating.
