Allen Browder Vaughan

Allen Browder Vaughan, 92, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late William Spotswood and Annie Mae Browder Vaughan. Allen was a proud Veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #136, Elks Lodge Post #237, and the Saints and Sinners. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Skinner Vaughan; son, Charles A. Vaughan and his wife, Deborah; sister, Olivia Dozier; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, October 13, 2014, at Ettrick United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
