Aloysius James Mack

November 18, 1932 — June 19, 2015

Aloysius J Mack, 82, of Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. Born in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of the late Anthony and Margaret Kauffman Mack. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Arlene Mack; three siblings, Catherine Mack Quick, Rev. Robert Mack, and Eileen Mack Wright. Al was a religious man and proud member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Richmond. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed rooting for his team. Al is survived by his daughter, Marion Kolokowsky (Robert); three sons, Michael Mack (Misty), Paul Mack (Lori), and Jim Mack (Maryann); sister, Mary Guzowski (Ted); two brothers, Thomas Mack (Jeanie), and Donald F. Mack (Pat); 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; Laurie Polly (Rick) who was like a daughter to Al; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Interment will follow at 11:45 am in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1400 S. Randolph St, Richmond, VA 23220. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Catholic Charities.
