Alta Conrad

Alta Catherine Conrad, 91, of Dinwiddie died Saturday, December 10, 2011. She was a native of Smoke Hole West Virginia born the daughter of the late George and Florence Judy. She was also preceded in death by her husband Virgil T. Conrad, sisters Minnie Shreve, Margie Ludwick, Rhoda Stump, Verda Whetzel and Minnie Judy and brothers Biser Judy, Kermit Judy and Charles Kimble. She is survived by her daughter Judy Mae Rose & husband Tom of Dinwiddie; two sons, Oliver T. Conrad & wife Shirley of Charles City and Olin G. Conrad & wife Mary Jane of Baltimore; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, December 12th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13th at the Rose Family Cemetery in Dinwiddie.
