Alvin Jacobs

Alvin David Jacobs, 87, of Virginia Beach formerly of Petersburg, died Friday, July 9, 2010. He was a graduate of the University of Richmond, attended the Harvard Mid-shipmen School, a US Navy Veteran and later joined Standard James, the family business. He is survived by his wife Bernice Jacobs; daughters, Amy Jacobs and Ann Bocock and her husband Jim; grandchild Blair Bocock; and sister Elaine Rosenberg. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, July 12th , at Brith Achim Cemetery.
