Alvin Raymond "Ray" Krauth, Jr.

Alvin Raymond “Ray” Krauth Jr., 69 of Chester passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Raymond Krauth Sr.; mother, Marion Riddle Eggleston; step- father, James V. Eggleston; and his infant daughter, Janet Renee Krauth. Ray was a graduate of Prince George High School Class of 1967. He served his country proudly in the Army during the Vietnam War, and retired from Philip Morris after 31 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and sitting on his back porch watching the wildlife which he fed every day. Ray is survived by his wife, Judy Hayes Krauth; daughters Michelle K. Kiser (Curtis), Allison K. Orn (Jake); his grandchildren which were the apple of his eye, Emily Orn, Brenden Orn, Colby Kiser; mother and father in law, Clarence and A.V. Hayes. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday July 28, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Friday July 29, 2016 in Merchant Hope Memorial Gardens in Prince George.
