Amanda Casey, 30, of Chester, VA, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Amanda was born in Hopewell, VA, to Tony and Donna Casey.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Rosa Day; and her great-grandparents, Henry Emerson, John Milton, and Ruby Milton.
What would Amanda say: Believe in yourself & dare to be different. It's okay, not to be okay. It's okay to scream, shout and cry. It's okay to need alone time. It's okay to walk instead of run, crawl if you need to, but it's not okay to give up on yourself. We love you Duck and will miss you forever!
She is survived by her parents; her brothers, Brandon and Cody Casey; her maternal grandparents, Jean Finch and Gilbert Milton; her Granny, Marjorie Emerson; her three godchildren, Ashlynn, Alexis, and Amelia Walker; her beloved pets, Daisy, the dog and Pearl, the pig; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
