Amanda Lewis

Amanda Brittney Lewis, 16, of Dinwiddie passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008. She was a devoted and dedicated daughter, granddaughter and a true â??friend for lifeâ?. Amanda was a very selfless and caring person who always put herself last. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball and had a passion for art and poetry. Amanda was part of the Academic Club and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was preceded by her paternal great grandparents, Eugene and Pauline Kestner and Frances Lewis and her maternal great grandparents, Robert and Ruby Clary. She is survived by her father, Tim Lewis and his wife, Stephanie and their parents, Gerald and Margaret Lewis and Homer and Judy Asby; her mother, Donna Lewis and fiancé, Jeb Inge and their parents, Barbra Clary and Shelia Jefferson and Clarence Mosley, Jr. and Audrey Mosley. She is also survived by her siblings, Jasmine Scott, Timothy Lewis, Masada and Diaira Winfield and Xavier Humphries; very dedicated boy friend, Richard Williams, III and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who include her life long best friend, Tiffany Spence. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 2 to 5 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery.
