Amanda Shopshear

Amanda Ellen Shopshear, 54, of Hopewell, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Worley Ellis and Elizabeth Amanda Schlichter Shopshear. Amanda enjoyed being outdoors in the sun and water, and loved her friends and pets dearly. She was employed by Golden Living in Chesterfield. She is survived by her loving companion, Michael C. Wait of Hopewell, Virginia; a sister, Ann Scarborough and husband, David; two nieces; one nephew; a great niece and nephew all of Greer, South Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2901 Norfolk St., Hopewell, VA 23860, with the Rev. Wayne Rickman, officiating. Interment will be private.
