America Allen Hunter, 90, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Howard Johnson and Virginia Johnson; her loving husband of more than 48 years, Howard Clyde Hunter; brothers, Worth and Randell Johnson; sisters, Lovell St. John and Ruth Cobb. She is survived by her son, Donald C. Hunter and wife, Judy; son, Dale Hunter and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Damien Hunter, Adam Hunter and wife, Heather, Adrianne Seitz and husband, Tim, Ryan Hunter and wife, Lisa, Marshal Hunter and wife, Apollonia, Haley Tilstra and husband, Aaron; and sixteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Nana loved children, God and her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
