Amy Rosalind Bush

Amy Rosalind Bush, 98, a resident of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar M and Mary A. Morecock; loving husband, James R. Bush; daughter, Rosalind Ellis; brother, Horace Morecock; sisters, Mary “Mae” Belvin, Katherine “Bea” Cholko, Edna Coddington and Helen Sweeney. She is survived by her grandchildren, Courtney Bartholf (Stephen) and Christopher Ellis; great granddaughter, Madelyn Bartholf. A native of James City County, after graduating from Matthew Whaley High School in Williamsburg, Va, She moved to Hopewell in 1947. Amy was a 4-H club member and a long time member of First Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, VA, where she was very active and loved singing for her church. A visitation will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 9-11 a.m. 820 W. Broadway Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860.
