Amy Burton Fisher

Amy Burton Fisher, beloved mother, wife, daughter, and sister, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Todd Fisher; a son, Aiden Mandry Fisher; mother, Mary Belle Wilson (Billy); father, James Patrick Burton, Sr. (Linda); mother-in-law, Carol Fisher; grandmother-in-law, Margaret Lewis, affectionately known as "Gramma"; brothers and sisters, James Patrick Burton, Jr. (Sarah), Adam Mandry Burton (Stacey), Tamara Michelle Burkhart (Jon), and Stephanie Renee Hoppe (Matt); and brother-in-law, Jason Fisher (Ashley). Heaven has truly received an angel. Amy was full of life, love, kindness for all, and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was a teacher at Harrowgate Elementary School where she taught kindergarten for over 20 years. The lives she has touched are beyond count. She had numerous endeavors over the years including her passion for "Short Cakes" that reached out to many. Her love for her "A" was like no other. Rest in peace beautiful soul. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Ocran United Methodist Church, with interment following in the church cemetery.
