Amy Michelle Langford

Amy Michelle Purdie Langford, 38, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on July 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Langford, Sr.; niece, Taylor Nugent; paternal grandmother, Jean Hartley; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Vaughan; and brother, Jason Kovalaske, Sr. Amy graduated from West End Christian School and worked for the family restaurant since the age of 11. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Amy is survived by her parents, Kenny and Linda Purdie; son, Bobby D. Langford, Jr.; four siblings, Dinelle Stone, Robert Kovalaske, Jr. (Joe), Jesse Kovalaske, Sr., and Steve Nugent (Angela); and ten nieces and nephews, Melissa, Megan, Linda, Jesse Jr., David, Makayla, Jason Jr., Brittany, Brandon, and Haylee; parents-in-law, Debbie and Harvey Langford; brother-in-law, Wayne Langford (Christina); and a niece, Jillian. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Hopewell Chapel, 820 W. Broadway Avenue, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 1 PM. Interment will directly follow the service at Bermuda Memorial Park.
