Andrew William Moncol, 92, of Prince George died Friday, August 20, 2004 at John Randolph Medical Center after a brief illness. Mr. Moncol was the son of the late Andew and Susan Moncol and was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Makovsky Moncol and his sister, Emily Moncol Mistr. He was a member of Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church in Prince George and was retired from Hercules, Inc. He was a veteran of WWII and a long time member of the Prince George Ruritan Club. He was awarded the Chevalier of the Order of Leopold II with palm and affixed with Croix de Guerre 1940 with palm. He is survived by his three children, Susan Ann Ryan and husband, Jerry, Andrew William Moncol, Jr. and wife, Sallie and Deborah Gail Moncol; three grandchildren, Virginia Cary Moncol, Laurence Morton Moncol and Richard Andrew DeBell; two sisters, Helen Tankersley and Christine Belshes; two brothers, Paul Moncol and Daniel Moncol; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, August 23, at 10:00 A.M. in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens with Pastor Sarah Nave and Pastor Dwight Nave officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Prince George Ruritan Club, Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church or the Prince George Emergency Crew. The family is being served by J. T.
