Angela Irvin Allen

Angela Irvin Allen, 50, passed away on October 9, 2024. She was born on January 7, 1974, in Petersburg, VA, and raised in Dinwiddie County, VA. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, S. Lee and Evelyn Mowatt Irvin; her maternal grandmother, Mary G. Heath; her uncle, Garry Irvin; and her aunt, June W. Heath.

As a child, Angie loved attending dance class until the age of 17, playing in a church softball league, and meeting with friends at Petersburg Skateland. Angie moved to Colonial Heights in 1999, to live with her beloved husband, Troy. She was a faithful and dedicated employee of Hudson Properties, in Hopewell, VA, for nearly 25 years. Angie thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with daughter, Keeley, during her many years of dance class. Angie enjoyed trips with her family, most notably their travels to the Outer Banks, where many years of memories were made.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Troy Allen; her daughter, Keeley Allen; her parents, David and Teresa Irvin; her brother, David Irvin, Jr.; her nephew, Jacob Booth; her niece, Carson Irvin; her uncle, Ronnie Heath; her cousins, Allison, Heather, and Ashley; her two devoted friends, Dawn Gryder and Candice Bride; her father-in-law, Paul Allen and wife, Greta; her mother-in-law, Brenda Shaw and husband, Tom; numerous other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; her three felines, Cali, Boady, and Dipper; and her four legged sister, Elle.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Virginia, Dr. West, Dr. Randolph, Dr. Brown, and the members of Colonial Heights Fire & EMS for their care and assistance in Angela's journey.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m., at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:00a.m., at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, in Colonial Heights.
