Angela â??Angieâ? Leigh Baines Lively, 47, of Prince George, VA, died January 26, 2011 at MCV after a short battle with cancer. She was born March 23, 1963, in South Hill, VA, the daughter of Benjamin L. and Barbara H. Baines. Angie is survived by her husband, Gary W. Lively. She is also survived by her sister, Cathy Baines Roper (Phil), her nephew, Philip Benjamin Roper, her maternal grandmother, Edith Henderson, her aunt, Linda H. Wells (Carl), her cousins, Christopher Todd Wells (Kim) and Lauren Nicole Wells, and her great-aunt, Louise Whitt. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Charles and Marie Lively, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, their extended families and many close friends. Angie was a graduate of Richard Bland College and James Madison University (Cum Laude). She received her Masters in business administration from Averett University. She was a teacher in the Chesterfield School System for 23 years. Angie was a member of Second Baptist Church, Petersburg, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, Deaconess, and a member of the sanctuary choir. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29th at Second Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Joseph Lewis, Pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.
