Angela Victoria Perkinson, 57, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Born in Cumberland, NC she was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Mitchell and her husband, Roy. Angie will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, caregiver and friend. Angie was a selfless person and always put others before herself. She was currently employed with Food Lion in Chester. She is survived by her husband, Calvin Bruce Perkinson, Jr. “Bubba”; four children, Louis Anthony Vairo, Jr. and wife, Beth, Victoria Luelva Hunter, Tessa Humphries and husband, Brandon and Zachary Perkinson; four grandchildren, Destiney, Lily, Adriana and Kamdyn; her father, Gary Alan Fairburn and wife, Sandy; two brothers, Ronald Fairburn “T-Bone” and John Fairburn and wife, Tonya; her sister, Betty Brown “Arlene” and her husband, Dwayne; mother-in-law, Betty Solesbee, two nephews, Kincaid and Caleb Fairburn; her beloved friends, Rhonda Jordon and husband, John and Teresa Catlin and husband, Ricky; and her adopted children, Christian Smith, Chelsey Whaley, Roxanne Nichols (Glen) and Brandy Holly (Willie). A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Merchant’s Hope Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Rodney Jenkins, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
